Unsupported Shortcuts

We don't support legacy direct-dial shortcuts that would require Niagara Launcher to have the start calls permission. Android recommends developers not to use them since Android 7.1 because launchers would have to request the direct dial permission even though the launcher only forwards the direct dial request. We recommend installing a second contacts app (you can still keep your existing contacts app simultaneously) and creating a compatible direct-dial shortcut with it. Our choice would be Google Contacts.
